Met hemi out at my spot again this morn for a Lil more fun! Got on the water tryed every spot imaginable a fish would stick on or near and NOTHING!!
So we decided to go play with the carp but they didn't want to cooperate either with bites few and far behind. Finally got 2 worth points and then they where all dinks! Well while I was sitting next to the bulkhead I happened to look at my right and there's a MOCCASIN TRYING TO GET IN THE YAK!!!!! HIS HEAD WAS RIGHT AT MY SIDE!!!!!! one of the top 5 scariest moments of my life thus far!!! Then after that the bite fell completely off and Hemi had to go.
Then the wife and kids came up and they fished off the dock while I was in the Slayer. I happend to toss out a big ol wad of night crawlers and noticed the line start jumping and I set the hook and thought yep nice carp and seen its side and it was a monster Redbreast!! Got it up measured her and took pics and sent her back to the nest! Biggest Redbreast I've ever caught!!

Redbreast sunfish are awesome....usually caught in the moving water like streams and rivers as far as I've seen. That's a nice one and I've caught lots in rivers. My biggest came from still water like yours. It was a chunk. The pic was from one of the old skool phones several years ago but you can still see the hump head that panfish get when they get large.

This lake is fed by a Rockfish Creek it has HUGE RED BREAST
