Finally got a canoe! Looking forward to getting it wet as soon as possible so I plan on launching into Queen's Creek tomorrow. If Pierman or anyone else that fishes it would love to give some newbies advice then it would be much appreciated. I'm considering launching out of the boat launch that charged $3 as opposed to the bridge. If so, where are all the fish hiding?!?!

Left from the ramp up along the houses and past the little bridge back into Parrot swamp. Popping cork, net for live bait and a bucket. Cut bait on a Carolina rig or the live bait. Along the grass and around the oyster bars and watch for waking water... Good luck!

Gulp shrimp work great under a popping cork. You can find red drum in places you'd look for LMBs. Oyster beds, and along marshes are good places for trout flounder and reds.
