I would like to outfit my kayak with LED light strips for night time fishing. I will readily admit that I'm not an electrician. Is there someone here that could assist me with this task? I know how and where I would like to put the lights but my issue is the secure waterproof connections to the power source.

I use a head lamp and a rechargeable Million watt spot light....
Turning the lights OFF seems to work the best.

I did this to my hobie. Bought LED light strips from amazon. Bought a remote controller from eBay.
