Interesting. I recently saw a TV commercial from BP. It was a sort of public announcement about their pro active stance on water quality conservation. It mentioned their efforts and actions to ensure that there are no future spills in the Gulf etc etc etc.
In one clip there are many Red drum being loaded from a tote on to a bee of ice/fish store display just like we find flounder, mullet, sea bass and so on here in NC.
When I saw it the first time I thought my eyes were fooling me
I've seen it at least twice since then and these are indeed red drum.
I'm not making any environmental opinion. I just think they are shooting game themselves in the foot if they are trying to illustrate their caring position by using banned fish as an example???
Something more to it that I am missing most likely?

Two minutes after this post I found this;

Have you seen the BP commercial?
Fish house throwing drum on ice.
If they were bottle nose dolphin I bet this wouldn't go unnoticed. On second thought they would be hard to throw.
Not that I would ever advocate harvesting dolphin mind you. Just sayin.
