C.Lane and I hit the river this morning with high hopes of catching a few trout and then were going to go on the hunt for some stripers. After a bumpy run in a stiff ENE wind we settled into our spot and began fishing. Before it was all said and done we had a box slam full of trout and a bonus drum to go with it. In the mix we also added two stripers. All fish came on Topwater and Mirrolure 17mr's. The three biggest trout went 24.5, 25.5, and 26.5 inches.

Huge Trout!! Caught a few myself today. Though none that size! Paddled over 7.5 miles today in that nasty wind.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It was an awesome day. One that we will likely talk about for a long time. We went back at it again today. This time we brought ****** and Sean. While it was nowhere near as good as yesterday we caught some nice fish.
