Looking for a long trolling rod (8-9 ft) to run of side of T Top for Spanish and maybe kings.

Anyone using anything like that round Wilmington area and what are your recommendations.

Don't think longer than 7 ' rod is necessary for either species.
Longer length maybe cumbersome on a boat.
Caught them using hand lines. "Low tech" fishing. ....... ICM
