Have a fishing trip planned out of Atlantic Beach on Sunday, 5/18, but would love to chase cobia, spanish, blues, whatever, on Saturday, 5/17 as well. Experienced in/nearshore fisherman w/my own gear and I pay my way. Character references on request (kidding but kinda serious, too). Otherwise will pack my yak and chase drum. Just a bit inconvenient to bring yak this trip so hoping to catch a ride. PM me for contact info. // Joel

Thanks a bunch just for considering it. Would love to tag along on a future trip. Will be draggin' my yak with me this weekend, so worst case will be chasing drum somewhere in the area -- but would just love to hang a cobe and am just not the "beyond-the-breakers" type with my yak!

Man I'm working this weekend and won't be back until Monday. If I was there this weekend you would have a ride. Let me know when your back. I'm down about 10 -12 days a month.

thanks, guys. i don't expect any sympathy, 'cause sunday is my charter (w/several friends) with mount maker (chris kimrey). i look forward to finding some red drum on topwater from my yak on saturday (maybe monday, too).

i saw that about the cobia-from-a-kayak -- don't think it didn't cross my mind to go surfin' in my yak! but i learned my lesson last time when women and children had to come rescue me after wiping out the 2nd time in the surf. from now on, kayak's for the sound and marsh, boats for the ocean. :D

tight lines, y'all, and thanks for thinking of me.
