Hey NcAngler got a fishing/camping weekend trip that I'm planning with 2 of my friends and was just looking for some advise. I was thinking of hitting up the pee dee river but don't know if theres any place to setup camp and fish. We won't be leaving until 3-13-15 is there any areas other than jordan?

Cape Fear I hear is some of the best cat fishing around.

Yea but is there anywhere to setup a small camp for the weekend for me and 2 friends?

Probably a good drive for you but me and my wife camped at Kerr lake last spring and really enjoyed it. We caught catfish on shrimp right from the bank at our campsite. Beautiful place. Don't forget the world record blue cat comes from Kerr.
