The adjustment straps for the seat on my Tarpon and Ride have become dry over the years and are impossible to adjust from the seated position. I've done some research and can't find a definitive answer as to how to lubricate and soften them so I can adjust from the cockpit. Any ideas?

No idea but would love to know the answer to your question also. I have a Ride 135 that is over 10yo. I always set my straps before I get in the boat.

Smear them with a run of the mill hair conditioner. Your wife prolly has some in the bathroom. Rinse it out after an overnight soak.
