Fished Mackintosh today. Water temps were 38-39 degrees. Caught these two. 8-2 and a 4-2 on a crankbait. Weighed in with 12-4, no where near good enough to place. Top weight was almost 24 pounds and second was almost 22 pounds. I did manage to get big fish with the 8-2 but not by much. There are some sure enough heavy hitters up there!!!!!

Going back in the morning to see what I can figure out.

It was either one. Next week is all gas boat side.

Besides your group were there a lot of other boats out? Any idea what the guys at the top were using?

There were a lot of boats out there today. We were on the gas boat side and saw a ton of boats. Yesterday we were on the trolling motor side and saw 4 jon boats, not sure about the other side.

We caught almost all of ours on crankbaits.

Tommy and his partner win every tournament they enter at the Mack, from what I have seen. If he's in the field, you're fishing for 2nd. He used an electric rig when he beat our tails last year. No idea what he was throwing.
