One of the major things IMO was regarding seismic research off of Hatteras. Researching the "earths crust" which later lead to a brief mention of gas and oil.
Was noted that this research definitely harasses sea turtles, fish, and marine mammals. With the possibility of death or habitat abandonment.
Stock assessment of Stripers in the Roanoke/albemarle was reviewed and looked not so great. Seems like the big spawners were not up river in full force this breeding season.
