Finally had a week day off so I decided to spend it fishing an area I wouldn't even try to fish on the weekend and found some of these ugly suckers. Alot of small fish, but I was able to get a couple in the 3-5 pound range for the oil. I caught the big ones on urchins, I seem to get less bites on the urchins but when I do get a bite its always a quality fish. Go see Matt at Chasin Tails for the urchins, he is also a good resource for catching sheepshead if you aren't familiar with the fishery.

Caught them on raw oysters in South Carolina in April. Worked well but hard to keep on the hook. Used normal Carolina rig with a treble hook to hold the oyster on. Plan to try it in Morehead later this summer.
