Any of you fellas ever been carp fishin at midway lakes 1 or 2? Weather permitting I'm goin Saturday to try and earn some money and have fun at the same time. Thanks for any input

I missed this one the first time around. Did you go? I work with a guy that fishes the carp lakes around Burke county regularly, but stays away from the Midways. he said that the fish in both Midways were huge, but it was hard to get a leg up on the locals, when it comes to making up a hot bait.

Yep i wasted $30 there. The good spots in line with the areator thing were taken. The guy beside me was in a good spot and he was catchin em. I got skunked, maybe couldve caught some if my rice was stickier. I did learn alot though.
