**MAJOR MAD III UPDATE**

Since the very first MAD event, we have been searching for a location that is open to the public so that many more people can stop by and Thank Those Who Serve in person.

We are please to announce that on June 7, 2008, MAD III will be held on the Waterfront in Morehead City at 2 locations!
Thanks to our friends at The Big Rock and the Town of Morehead City, we will host our Heroes at the Jaycee Park and the City Park!

While this change of venue is significant from past MAD events, we believe it gives all of us the best opportunity to Thank Those Who Serve!

Just to update the private boat volunteer arrangement..

We have secured at least one and possibly two docks right on the waterfront in Morehead City for picking up and dropping off troops!

Thanks to Capt Tilley of the Continental Shelf, we have been granted permission to use one of his docks as well as the Olympus Dive Center docks which just happen to be right next to Jaycee Park where the registration and check in desks will be!

This is really shaping up to be a fantastic day of thanking our troops in person. Come on out if you can, but if you can't please consider making a tax deductible donation so that we can pull off a 1st class event.

In just 10 days of Registration, 100 TROOPS HAVE SIGNED UP!!!

If you have a boat and will consider joining us, please sign up on the volunteer tab.

I would really hate to have to turn these heroes away. Right now we can handle about 150 more registrations.

PLEASE if you have a boat and are interested in signing up to take the troops fishing, please do so. My goal is to have a total of 100 boats sign up for this great day.

We are about 40% there...

With 100 boats we can take approximately 350 troops out fishing, wouldn't that be awesome!

The response from our HEROES is amazing so far!

ALL of the spots we had set aside for families fishing have been filled.

We have a group of 30 Wounded Warriors coming down from Ft. Bragg and another group of 30 from the Air Force coming to fish!

Over 200 signed up already, this is great!

This pace is five times faster than any previous MAD event so that must mean we are doing something well!

At this pace, we might need more than 100 volunteer boats to take care of our Heroes. As of right now, we have 42 volunteer boats.

Do what you can to help "Thank Those Who Serve!"

66 days to go............
