Moratoc Park... Shad and Stripers?

Decided the waters might be high and cold still. So going to do some bank fishing. Seems the shad aren't up river quite yet. Is Moratoc Park a good area for shad/Stripers? Will be headed out Sunday.

I've looked the place over many times but never fished it, sorry I cant be of more help.
