Finally put together a few attractors to drop around the dock and afterward, while agonizing through the halftime of the Seattle/Green Bay game, we wet a line and I got some more jerk bait action on a new bait from Frog Junkie Lures.

When we got back to the house, we made it in time to see the Seahawks rally and beat the Packers and win the right to the Super Bowl...AGAIN!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!!

Anyway, for the report part...

Water temp - 44 degrees F
Water clarity - 2 1/2 to 3 feet visibility
Lures - Albino Super Fluke and Frog Junkie Lures "Blue Nose Shad" jerk bait
Depth - 2 to 6 feet

Again, success came with a long pause after two quick jerks...a 5 to 10 count on the pauses world best fishing around any rip rap.

This time of year, the rocks really hold the heat form the sun and make for good targets for bass.

I hope this helps...good fishing!

You know what they say about "home lakes"...it's tougher to win tourneys there because you fish memories...fortunately for me, the area we moved to is very new to me...we are enjoying it, for sure!

A new company by a friend of mine...Frog Junkie Lures...you can check them out on the web or on Facebook. Nice stuff...and I even got to name the color for this one! They do jerk baits, cranks and frogs, of course!

...Yu can take it from an old Norman angler...A weightless trick worm will just kill'em around those same rocks yu speak of..most any color as long as its bright..(white, pink, limeteuse, etc)

the jeepsters were sporty little vehicles...I have had 3 ...still got the last one, & still love to drive it, but it spends most of its time in the storage unit....the trick worms still work here in Florida, not so many rocks but Okeechobee has plenty of reed heads,
the biggest difference is the size of the bass...at norman a lot of them were about 10 inches, now down here they are
about 10 pounds,,,lol....We used to live in Denver, N.C. and now we retired to Naples Fl...
