Hi everyone! I'm in Morehead City visiting friends and looking to do a little fishing while I'm here. I like fishing the Intercoastal and the creeks and I'm looking for some spots to go. I know about Fort Macon and the pier off 70 headed towards Beaufort. Is there anywhere else I can do some shore fishing around here? I don't really like pier fishing. Would prefer somewhere I can work some twitch baits or plastics for reds and flounder. Thanks for the help in advance.
