I fished the cherokee res. on the 19th and caught several on woolybuggers and bh prince nymphs. the sizes were 13 to17 inches,bows and browns. The nantahala Saterday was flowing cold and clear as always, got there just as they closed the dam. I caught two nice 14 inch brookies three average bows and to my dismay lost a bow weighing about four to five pounds.(just ask my wife). peace

Nice. I love fishing that area. Only get to go trout fishing once a year or so, but that is usually where I head.

Heading that way for opening of Delayed Harvest. It's an annual trip for the guys. 12 years running.(at least I think it is, I can't remeber that far back)
