Nearshore help...

721 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  skipper
Hey guys, thus far in my limited NCAngler membership, I've been mooching/asking questions about the local area. If you reference my threads, I've been very concerned about successfully navigation Bogue Inlet. Well, armed with all the info you guys gave me, I successfully made it out and feel confident I can do again. Okay, now to the big question, where the heck do I go to catch fish? I tried drifting keypost with live/cut bait with limited success. Any suggestions on nearshore spots? Bottom fishing? I have a down rigger however I've never used it... Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was thinking about trolling pirate plugs with cigar minnows around AE-340/342/345 for mahi and/or kings....
