Willing to buy them, if anyone has some they are getting rid of. now for the need! I am really dealing with this being apart from my wife, iraq was not this hard, and i am getting shortfused and angry very quickly. tell me I am not alone and this is a normal thing.
thanks

I can't help you with the boat seats but I can confirm that frustration as a result of being seperated from loved ones (wife and kids anyway) for an extended period of time happens to others (me included). Especially in a case like yours where you anticipate going "home" at the end of the seperation.

Hang in there brother. Remember that the Lord's timing is perfect!

Tex - what kind of seats are you talking about? Can you link to something like what you're looking for in one of the online catalogs (boatersworld.com, basspro.com), so folks will know what you're looking for?

re: Alone time - I recommend some time with Colossians 3

(Col 3:1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
(Col 3:2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

It seems few of us are blessed with a spirit that can meditate on things above for days on end. If you can't occupy all the hours in meditation on the things above, a project (like repairing/replacing boat seats) sounds like just the ticket to occupy the empty hours. Have to find the right attitude beforehand to get through it and deal with all the little (and big) hassles that are bound to be hiding in there.

(Col 3:17) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
(Col 3:23) And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Let us know how it goes - still praying for you.

boat seats. the ones that were on there were bucket seats. but they are rotted and i took them out. now i need to replace them, but i dont like any of the bass pro seats. So i decided i was going to do it myself, and thet was a big mess, and i have not the time for it, so now i have some old seats that need to be recoverd or replaced. so as far as pics, i will up;load them to my personal page on here, so if you look at my photos, youwill see the pictures of whatthey use to look like

Around here a lot of boat mechanics end up with peoples boats when they find out how much it will cost to fix their blown motors and etc. Look thru the yellow pages for independant mechanics.

There's a sign near Jordan Lake advertising somebody that does boat-related upholstery, if you wanted to pursue the "recovered" option. There've gotta be shops down thataway...
