My name is Richard
I just moved here from FL and am looking for fisherman who would like to share expenses for fishing trips. I have a 28ft Wellcraft. I am semi-retired and can go just about anytime. I prefer to go around 20 to 30 miles out or in 60 to 100 ft of water from Hampstead where I launch or from anywhere you launch. Inland fishing is also an option. I am thinking about tomorrow and or Saturday if the weather holds up. Call me at (901) 494-1075 as I an new to this website and have yet to learn how to navigate.

Welcome Richard, check in with Eastern Outfitters in Hampstead for help finding a crew & the name of a good fishing club up that way. Somewhere off of Olde Pointe's Country Road.
Learn to target species that are here & are open. Like BonitO & Spanish.
Hope this helps........ICM

Richard,

Right now the 100 ft break doesn't look that great to me for Saturday but you're running a bigger hull than I am. We (two boats) are planning on Sunday out of Beaufort Inlet. Intel is the Bonito are beginning to show up in good numbers just off the beach (3-5 miles) on that part of the coast. You're far enough south that they may have already vacated the premises but if you're going that far, (the ledges) you should be able to scare up a hoo or two. I run a 22 ft Scout and I'll make Big Rock or the ledges a little later in the year once mahi start showing up in good numbers. Good luck on scaring up a crew...lots of interest here on the site but sometimes tough to coordinate schedules. Keep us posted with a report on how you make out.

Welcome to NCAngler!

I'd love to go but sadly I'm too far away to take advantage of your offer. Don't give up though! I'm sure you'll find some folks who will be happy to take you up on it.
Richard, welcome to the area! I just sent you a text, I’m in North Topsail and definitely interested in some fishing and also have a flexible schedule. Also happy to chip in on expenses.
