Every year during the Big Rock Blue Marling fishing tournment my boss and I have been running a tournment between the 2 of us that runs in the same week that we call The Lil Pebble. The rules are very simple - Biggest fish wins, and it's an honor system tourney. No photos are required but they help. Also trash fish only count if other fish havent been caught, meaning a 4" flounder would beet a 40lb stingray. Anyways we've each got a fish on the leaderboard and having a tough time determining which fish is bigger so we've decided to each post on our respective forums to get help from yall and will be good with the overall opinion, assuming neither of us get a bigger fish. So the debate comes down to the 2 fish posted here, one being a 22" fat bass and the other a 25" drum that also had some shoulders. One of us has more experience w/ bass then drum and visa versa. I know there are many members on here that have a good bit experience with both. Feel free to comment below which you believe is "bigger". Thanks in advance for your opinion. Seeing how we work in the architectural/engineering field I guess "biggest" is overall mass, so we'll say weight. It's an honor system and if he says 22", I believe 22". Neither of us would want to have a false win w/ a made up size. Thanks for yalls comments and keep them coming, although I'll close this thread once I get enough comments saying the drums bigger - just kidding :D.

if you dont have a rule that they must be weighed and have lengths on both then imo the longer fish should win.....

no weights on either and lengths on both so the longer fish wins....in the canoe and kayak tournaments you can have a long skinney fish beat a heavier fish alot of times....

I was able to get one a bit bigger this evening. I'm going to have a tough time conceding to anything less then a tie for this one. We've each got till Sunday though so anything can happen in the Lil Pebble. Hand Finger Fish Fisherman Recreation
