ok so this is my first post here. im new to owning a boat that is offshore capable. i have a 23' robalo with a 225 johnson oceanpro on the back and me and a friend are looking forward to taking it out in the saltwater for the first time. Since im new to the ocean i could use help/advice on a few things.
1. we are planning on going out of wrightsville beach because we were told it was easiest to navigate what other inlets/ramps are good around wilmington?
2.how far is to far out for our first trip? I dont want to go to far out prolly max 15miles but i want to make sure thats not to far.
3. what months are the best bottom fishing months usually?
4. any spots that are within our range off wrightsville?
