I bought a 17'4 Tracker Grizzly this spring, I've been getting my use out of it for sure in both fresh and salt water. I've been searching for some rod holders that fit the track system on the boat as the rails are too thick for standard holders.

Does anyone know where I can get Rod Holders that will fit into the track system built into the boat. ????

Thats the problem, the lip is too fat to fit any standard Rod holder. The track system resides just on the inside of the lip of the gun whale. Its a "slit" cut horizontally along the rail of the boat. At the back and at the front are "insert" places where you get a screw of some type in there and slide the holder forward to the desired position.

I personally ahven't seen one of these holders, but have been told of their existance. I was told to call tracker parts deptartment and thye'd help me out.. No luck on that route though.

If someone local doesnt have them, I'd try Basspro.com, they have rod/track systems in their catalog. Check with your local tackle/boat supply first though,, they might be able to get or even have what you need.

I checked out the 2006 bass pro shops marine catalog and found nada. There wasn't even a whiff of where one had been. This might take awhile Rye but you will get some one way or another I am sure. Anybody got an older BPS marine catalog? AL

Driftmaster in Manning SC makes some that should fill your needs. They have a site that will pop right up on google or msn search. They also make the bases you are looking for. Most freshwater marine dealers that cater to fishermen should have them. They are real popular among crappie and catfishermen. I didn't realize they made bases for track systems though.
