Im replacing springs because they are in baaaaaad shape. I cant find an exact match but found some that will work BUT. The pin that goes thru the middle I assume to hold the springs together, is that right? Anyway the pin was through backwards I think, never seen ones with the pin on top and the nut on bottom so I tried to take it off and turn around and it didnt want to come all the way off, monked up the threads the last couple threads. Is it supposed to be nut on bottom because it doesnt fit in the alignment hole. What is my options here?

whatever way fits is fine, all that does is keep the spring pack centered with the axle. After you get those u bolts nice and tight and after driving it around some making sharp turns retighten those u bolts. The alignment pin is supposed to go in the hole those bolts are in backwards for a "under axle" spring perch. They may be a bear to get out. I have used a grinder and rounded down the hex end so it will fit in the pin holes but of course you play heck later is you ever need to get that spring pack back apart. ( which Ive never needed to do anyway)

Try Pamlico Marine in New Bern. All I had was an old galvanized trailer frame, and I practically build a new trailer from parts bought there.

Update: I turned the pin upside down which is really right side up, had to fix the threads. Had to file the round pin just a little so it would go in. Once I put the u bolts on and tightened the pin went all the way down. Replaced wheel bearings and all good to go now. On to the other side.
