Just saying Hi to all the fellow anglers out there. I am fairly new to NC, I lived near Ocean City MD for 6 years and grew up in PA.

Don't have a boat, so i mainly spend my time on land fishing. I love fishing from the surf, although I have to admit I havn't been able to get out as much as I would have liked over the past 2 years, but that is now changing!

I consider myself to be fairly adept with pier and surf fishing, I spent a LOT of time on Assateague Island MD fishing the surf. Those were some of the best days of my life.

I am now exploring Fort Fisher and Carolina beach (freeman park) to surf fish from. I also spend some time on Johnny Mercers pier in Wrightsville beach.

Hope to meet some of you on the beach!

What part of PA? That's where I grew up too. I just picked up my first surf fishing setup and hope to get out soon. Welcome to the group.

North Central Pa, around the Williamsport area. The Lycoming, Loyalsock and Muncy creeks where my main playgrounds.
I was in the SE, Pottstown, West Chester area. Shoot me a PM if you ever want to show a rookie some surf fishing tricks, or try your luck on some inshore species back in the marshes. I am still new to that too, but I've done it more than surf fishing.

^^ Pretty fun stuff, when you find the fish. I'm a bass fisherman but I have recently introduced myself to some of the inshore stuff, and I really like it. Especially catching redfish on topwater!

Welcome to North Carolina and to NCAngler!

So far, that is the only way I've caught them!
