Hey Im a new guy here and hoping to meet up with someone that has more knowledge in the area of surf shark fishing that maybe can show me some of the ropes and help me out when Im at the beach not to mention just a fishing buddy. I live in Sanford and Im in college full time. I have ok gear and small yak to paddle my bait out with.

Fort Fisher is as good as anywhere. Ocean side parking lot, small beach to the left of the lot.Some bigs sharks come in close at times even during the day.
I make my own 400 pound casting leaders.
If the birds are there, the fish are there. If the fish are there, the sharks are there.
