Hello,

Glad I found this site through my google search for "throttle motor". I live in Concord and also pretty new to the city too. Also only been in NC for about 3 years. I've fished at McDowell Park and Lake Tillery and Lake Fisher. Want to try High Rock next.

I can only do fishing by foot, no boat, sometimes will rent boat.

What other lakes to fish at near Concord? Lake Fisher is the closest I think but they don't allow fishing by foot, boat rental is required.

Welcome superrookie, Yes Lake Fisher you can fish, but you do have to rent a boat, but there is some good fish in there.. just really depends on what you are trying to catch, I have been 2 time and both time me and my friend have caught over 100 crappie each time.
