Before my oldest grandson returned to his dessert home in AZ I wanted to offer him a taste of River Smallmouth fishing in NC. Though he has caught larger Smallies in Lake environments, I think he thoroughly enjoyed the excitement of what our river trips have to offer. The beautiful scenery and bountiful population of feisty fish is a hard combination to beat He's already talking about the possibility of a return trip when he visits next year.
