It's that time of year again folks! The semester has started here at Appalachian state university, and consequently I have been running off to the river whenever I can get away from responsibilities. A buddy and I went out on Saturday and came across 12 smallmouth collectively, as well as several panfish and the largest sucker I've ever landed. Unfortunately, my phone underwent water damage that day so you'll have to take my word for it.
Today, the same buddy and I went out in the evening to the new close by our house. He was fishing a small rapala crankbait, while I was throwing the same orange rooster tail with which I did my damage on Saturday. Found a deep hole and drag started whizzing! She measured in at about 14 inches.
Thanks for reading! Time for me to hit the books.
