Hey all just moved here and I am itching to wet a line. Where can I catch a trout this fall so I can forget about my Browns failed season again. Located in Greensboro and would love to tagalong on a trip to the mtns to learn the area.

Welcome to the site. I can't help you out on the freshwater trout situation but I can tell you lack of rain has been a problem. Water is getting to be in short supply in most of the streams. If you go be prepared for lots of very skittish fish.
