Hey all,

I just moved to NC from Maryland. I spend most of my time fly fishing and tying flies -- when I'm not working. Smallmouth are my quarry of choice, but I do enjoy a good day trout fishing in the mountains.

I grew up fishing the Susquehanna and Potomac drainages, so I'm a river smallie type of guy.

I'm living by the Broad, so that's a nice mock Susky.

Welcome! I LOVE Smallies. French Broad and New have some decent fishing. I like big smallies so there is James, Nantahatla and Fontana lakes as well that I have fished.
