Welcome to our great state and an awesome resource site (from a fellow Buckeye). You have relocated to a very good area with excellent fishing opportunities. I'd start out by checking for clubs for Lake Jordan SW of Raleigh or Shearon Harris south of Raleigh.
Good luck and tight lines!

Clubs are pretty plentiful around here. There is something for everyone whether you want an inexpensive club that fishes close to home, a draw format club or one that will travel the mid atlantic states.

A few that I know of you can probably look for on google or facebook.

Carolina Crankers bass club (make sure you look at the raleigh based one, there is another club by that name near charlotte)
Triangle Bass Anglers
Harris Lake Hawg Hunters
Elite Bassmasters
Capitol City bassmasters
Renegade Bassmasters
Raleigh Bass Anglers
BBC Piedmont trail

Was hoping Neil would chime in, figured he could answer the clubs part of your question. Neil is one of the many great resources in that area that NCAngler has. Welcome to N.C. and welcome to the best online fishing community around.
