Hi Dave,
I love that black water, just as long as it's good clean black water. You probably know all about it but I know a lure that should be a perfect match for you. It is a #3 1/2 Snagless Sally by Hilderbrandt. The colors i have found best for your area are silver blade black and white skirt, silver blade with plain white skirt and gold blade yellow skirt in that order. Just about anything will hit hit them. You never know whats going to hit next. If you want to target bass just upsize it to a #4. I use to catch a lot of fish out of the ditches with them. They don"t work as well in clear water. Good luck and welcome aboard.
