Planned on fishing the New Bern area all week. After todays results I thinks its time to go back home and catch rock in the chowan and roanoke. Fished the bridges and small crks around New bern this morning. Absolutely nothing not even a hit. No one else I talked to had seen a fish neither. Loaded up the boat headed to Oreintal. Fished the crks over there. Again Nothing. Everyone I talked to had seen nothing. Guess I'll head home in the morning unless. someone has a better idea.

we fished Plymouth today with jigs and cutbait and caught a mess of cats but no rock. Tons of boats and no one caught any rock that we saw except one guy at the ramp said he found a school and caught four. We covered close to ten miles in our canoe. Paddled down the roanoke then across the sound and up the cashie then into the middle and around back to the bridge. We fished with another NCANGLER and he trolled all day without even a bump.

Swampin, we missed a 26" rock under the 45 highrise. Watched my uncle land him on a jerk-shad jigging, had to put her back in the drink though, she was in the slot limit. Enjoyed fishing with ya'll today. come back when the water warms a little and we'll catch some biguns!
