It was a steady 15-18 knot wind yesterday afternoon but there are only a few days left of Tautog season so I was determined to get out for some pullage. I left out of Messick boat ramp in Poquoson, Va. and made the 15 mile trip to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. I anchored up in about 16 feet of water over the spine of the third island on a steady outgoing tide. It was an awesome bite! I caught about thirty Togs in an hour and half, all on live fiddler crabs. I departed at 1330 and was back by 1700 with three nice keepers for dinner.

All the wildlife was waiting for scraps when I got home.
