Guys,
Reading the posts are making me count the days.
I'll be with the folks at a house with dock on Alligator Bay from July 19 to July 26.
I'll have both my 16ft Scout (90HP) and my kayak (Ride 135).

I'll get more time in my kayak and I'm hoping fishing inside and just outside of Alligator Bay proves to be worthwhile.
The area on the opposite side of the ICW looks interesting also, particularly up where Mill Creek comes in.

Anyone fish that area that can give me some pointers?

Thanks,
NW

That area is mostly mud, but theres a couple of sandy areas at the mouth of the actual alligator bay. Be warned, last time I went into the bay to get in the creek, I cut outside of the white marking posts. Right at the edge of the intercoastal on the side closest to the bridge was a piece of rebar sticking up but still submerged. Stay near the marker posts getting back in there and you should be good.
