O.C. Cobia frenzy and a Bunch of Kings

This was number 5 or 6...Cobia... can't remember....but, I will say this...the last 2 days at O.C. we're borderline Epic....absolutely GREAT NORTH CAROLINA SPRING FISHING:)And, I just want to thank everyone at the O.C.Pier...a very cool group of folks.Besides the 10+ Cobia decked, not to mention many hooked and lost...There were I think... 4 kings landed as well...The Cobia went from 25 to 50 lbs....and the kings from 18 to 30lbs...I almost forgot about the 20 plus Spanish my Buddy Joe, the "Fishin Magician" and I slayed....and certainly not least was the 7 lb 9 oz Spanish caught on a gotcha....
Get R Done:)

P.S. loved the big rig...but conditions did not allow for proper kayak fishing...so we O.C. ed. It.

I did get Baptized....:) Twice.
This is far from over...just getting started...absolutely love my Jackson Big Rig...

Water Sky Body of water Vehicle Lake

Those boys down there don't play around when it comes to line. They fish so close together that a lot of them use 100+ braid.

Give me a holler when you take the kayak out. I've been wanting to do a kayak trip out of oak island for a while but haven't gotten around to it

They will run offshore and after is passes they will be back. A bunch of them will probably work their way up but some will come back for that tourney this weekend.
