Went on Oak Hollow with my buddy a WSPD officer, his daughter, and my cousin.

He caught this nice 2 pound hybrid trolling a nightcrawler, this yellow cat, and my cousin caught this pumpkinseed.

There really are fish in this hot weather!

Not much hot weather left at this point. You guys had the right idea. The fish will still bite. You just need to keep it in front of them a lot longer. Bait is good at staying in the strike zone till the fish decides it is worth the effort. The same thing applies in the winter.

I dont know who that guy is with his shirt off but he looks like a stud to me. And yes it was extremely hot out. I didnt wear any sunscreen and my back is still blistered. Oddly enough my line got snagged on noffs cousin's line ( as it usually does when kids fish around you) and I had to real it in by hand. Beautiful fish with that largemouth look.

I have been fishing oak hollow for years now and that is the first hybrid I have seen alive. That gives me hope for my next trip. thanx for the pic.
