Yup.......my favorite place to fish is out Oregon Inlet. We were up in Spring and will be up again in late Sept. We typically trailer my bro-in-laws 306 Grady up. We'll be staying at Pirates Cove for a week, can't wait.

Also do a bunch of fishing from Tampa south to the FL Keys.

We had a great time @ Pirates Cove.....it is one sweet spot to visit. Fishing however was quite slow as I believe we missed the hot bite being a few weeks early. We did manage a Blackfin Tuna, 20 lb Wahoo and 7 Mahi from 3 to 14 lbs. We got out 3 of the 5 days as the weather turned to the worse. The other 2 boats that fished with us did not get a single fish so in that regard I guess we did well.

Thanks for the report - the weather has stayed hot longer this year, wonder if that had an effect on your fishing?
