I was wondering if anyone had been to fish off the bridge at Oregon Inlet. I went in early January, but the fish just weren't there yet. I was thinking about going up there this weekend. Anyone heard anything or been lately?
There has been a few Stripers caught off the catwalk, but I hear it's mostly a night with eels under a light. I saw one several weeks ago weight in at 40 lbs. Thats where the guys said it was caught & it was middle of the day. Most of the big ones are 50 mile north off Corolla. I'm going to look for a 60lber Sunday weather permiting. Who cares about football when you can fish.
I read on the fishing reports of the Oregon Inlet fishing center that they are doing pretty good. Check out Oregon Inlet Fishing Center if you haven't already.
