I have been pretty set in my ways for tippet knots...either using one of the surgeons knots or a blood knot or what some call a speed blood knot. Then, earlier this week, my friendly fly tying guru showed me the Orvis Tippet Knot. Supposed to be stronger than a surgeons and easier for some folks to tie. Google it for video instruction etc. It's sorta a figure 8 with a surgeons on one side of the 8. May be a variation that appeals to others.

Richard, I use this knot all the time...never new what it's called. Try tying with your hemostats...really easy and quick! Great knot...thanks.
