My wife and I attended a marriage enrichment conference this weekend on the Outer Banks. It was a beautiful weekend and I enjoyed looking out over the ocean this morning over breakfast. I saw a school of blues (I assume not sure cause they were several hundreds yards offshore) tearing up some baitfish. It was a buffet for them and they were ripping the surface going after them. It lasted for several minutes and I wish I'd had my boat or at least my binoculars. Beautiful day and not a boat in sight. Sigh! :)

Can't beat starting your day with breakfast looking over the water!

I'm wondering if that might have been Fat Albert's working the bait? It's the time of year you find them right of the beach. Course Blue fish are there now too. In any case, makes you want to grab a rod and go get 'em.

Could have been Albies Topsail. I sure wish I'd had my binoculars. :p It never fails that when I am at the coast without my boat and no chance of fishing, that weather wil be beautiful and fish in abundance. :D
