Thinking of going to the Wilmington area this weekend to do some casting in the surf. My only rod I have with me is my Trout surf rod.
First Question: How is the trout/slot red fishing from the surf this time of year down there?
Second Question: I dont have 4wd so I will be walking over. What are some places that you can walkover and fish around there. Preferably without beach crowds.
Third question: I should be fine with some mirror lures and 1/4-3/8 jig heads with soft plastics right?
