Been on the water at least twice a week the whole winter. One of the best winters I’ve had in over a decade because the water has actually gotten cool this year.

I've been catching some out at Belews Creek. Waiting for the water to hit 46 degrees in the local lakes before I start looking at pre-spawn.

Gotcha. Im itching to get out. Might give it a shot later in the month. Caught 5 last year in an hour at the tail end of February.

Was out on High Point city lake today. First time out in 2021. I couldn't get a single bite. My Garmin was showing water temps from 43 to 45.

With the warmer weather this week, the Piney Bluff boat landing at Belews has been pretty busy. I drove by on the way home this evening and the parking lot was packed.
