I didn't make it to the mountians this weekend, but I had a need to wet a line so I took my 3yr old girl to my buddies house on Lake Wylie for a little fly-fishing for blue gill. She is pretty good with the rod in the yard without any obstructions and no hook on the line, but with the hopper dropper setup that I was using she had some problems. So I would hookem, she would reel them in and release them. It was great. I could have kicked myself for not having my camera with me, but I will next time.:)

Good Goin! Especially "Fly" Fishing. I have had so many people tell me this year that they want to learn to fly fish. My girls, both in their twenties now, started with me very early. I'd take them to a local pond in a small carolina boat I had and that way the only obstruction was my head. Did I say "DUCK?" It was worth every minute. My oldest one loves to Dove Hunt and she loves to fish at the coast. Last year, she caught some croakers, black drum, mullets, and others. She is 25 and still loves to go with Dad to wet a line. Awesome!
