Quick Stop and Nice Bass

Drove up to Richmond on Wed. (4/30) to fish as a co-angler in the FLW Rayovac on The James River..... As we know tons of rain , swelling river and first day launch cancelled..... Mid afternoon Thursday FLW calls it and cancels..... I hit the road back to Raleigh and just need to fish..... I look at the map and pick this little Lake Rogers in Creedmore off of 85..... Pull in 4 casts and this brute jumps a brush hog about 20 feet off shore..... Just at 5 lbs. . Didn't completely fix the disappointment of the T being cancelled but sure helped........
