Guys I don't have time to post as often as I like. A lot of days I am on the water sun up to sundown, and have to see the kids and family when I am home. We took a vacation to Washington DC a couple weeks ago, and if you have never been, I recommend you do so. The fishing has been great, throwing topwater plugs sun up to sun down, along with gold/black spoons and Mr 17's. There have been a few days we had to work to get 10 fish in the boat, and days where 30+ was easy. That is why it is called fishing. Any questions, fire away.

Those are some pretty specs and I'll jump at the opportunity for some questions.

Do you ever use your fishfinder to actually mark fish before you catch them?
Been fortunate enough to fish with him a couple times...I don't think he even has a fish/depth finder on the boat! The man just knows the water and where the fish are! He's forgot more about fishing than most including me could ever hope to learn.

You're the reason I had to rethink the size of my net. Good work, keep it up.
It is about time for you boys to go again. lol I enjoyed the family feudin'.

No, I do not even have a fishfinder. Most of the fishing I do is in 2' or less, the majority of it anyway.

Nice fish breadman. How do you find trout and drum this time of year? thanks
You literally have to get out and look for them. You have to look for signs, fish busting, pushing, etc.. You can also hit a bank blind casting and just see what happens.

Surely you catch some nice hook and line flounder? Post some pics of those if ya got any.
It is mainly topwater fishing this time of the year from sun up to sun down. We have not really targeted any flounder this year.

How deep are you finding the Trout?
Most are 1-3', some are in 4-6'.

I stayed booked about a month in advance. Flounder gigging is best April-November.

These days I'd be happy hooking the flip flop. I hear they put up a fight if foul hooked. Better action than the 8" croaker I've been dealing with.
Nice looking fish.
