Snow's Cut is where a lot of folks target Flounder though it may be a little late in the year for that now. IMO the creeks and marshes near Bald Head Island are most likely to produce Reds. However, I hear they're catching Stripers downtown already.

There are usually drum and sometimes trout and flounder-probably a litttle late for flounder- around the spoil/ballast stone islands near and south of the powerlines that cross the river. Work the rocks right up against them, the drum will hang out there. I have heard fish have been caught even up past downtown this year because of the salinity.
