Results for 11/10/2007 Special Olympics Charity Tournament
Well our first charity tournament is under our belt. As some of you may know, planning a charity event is a big undertaking. I would like to thank all the men and women that fished with us and I hope you will spread the word to other fisherman and fish with us again in 2008. I want to also thank our sponsors. Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, Zoom Baits, Cowan’s Ford Golf Club at Lake Norman, Skeeter Boats, Hutch Ham Agency, Inc. Please help support these sponsors and tell them you saw there name at our tournament.
This was the weights and payout for Saturday’s Special Olympics Charity Bass Tournament on Lake Norman. 11/10/2007
1st Place 10.13 lbs Dan Duvall, Brian Morgan $550.00
2nd Place 9.15 lbs Dwight Dellinger, Gerald Dellinger $300.00
3rd Place 9.13 lbs Chris Marshall, Ronnie Wilson $150.00
4th Place 9.03 lbs Chad Illing, Mike Lovelace $100.00
Big Fish 4.0 lbs Chuck Camp, Bruce Camp $310.00
We had a total of 31 Teams and raised $1100.00.
I want to tell everyone that a mistake was made during the weigh-in and a team was overlooked, the Fishers of Men Team of Butch Bouner and Mark Piercy. They had a weight of 10.04 lbs which finished them in 2nd place. I called Butch this morning and told him there was a mistake made at the weigh-in and his team had finished in second place. Butch and his team mate Mark are two outstanding guys and understood that mistakes happen. I am in the process of contacting the 2nd -4th place teams to rectify the mistake with the Fishers of Men Team.
I want everything to be on the up and up and I will fix the mistake so everyone is happy.
